With Dinan it was love at first sight. Picture perfect cobbled streets with quaint half-timbered houses. And Saint Malo and Mont St Michel just a short drive away.
The last leg of our UK journey takes us north to Yorkshire, the largest county in England, We look after two gorgeous labradors and an adorable cat. Taking in all that the Yorkshire Dales have to offer. There’s even a trip across to the church of Everton FC.
London here we come, lots of doggy cuddles, plenty of history, family and friends catch up. Walks and live music and the finest English cuscine.
The start of our 3 months stop over in the UK. Catching up with family and friends. Housesitting a gorgeous dog and super hunter cat. Exploring little fishing villages and drinking and eating far too much.
In our Iceland travel blog, we spent 3 days experiencing the sensational Northern Lights and snow-drenched landscapes and frozen waterfalls of the Golden Circle.
In our longest house sit so far we suffered a few mishaps, a murder or two (chicken) and Christmas magic as we fell in love with Portland, its unique style and great food.
We hit Seattle’s finest tourist spots, Chihuly’s famous glass garden, the Space Needle, EMP museum and Pike’s Market in a fun-filled winter weekend.
As winter approaches we cosy up in Eugene for a house sit before hitting the road to explore Oregon’s wet and wild coast and the equally soggy Columbia River Gorge.
Incredible wildlife at Jaguar Rescue Centre, The ARA Project, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, even in our Air BnB jungle garden. Add in zip lining, yoga and beach time, perfect!
What didn’t we do in California? Two house sits, attended a wedding, first college football game, ate Ethiopian in San Fran, supped Napa wines, and got a tattoo!
